hi! I am looking a great linux reseller web host (maybe in the EU). some info: space: 1TB bandwidth/mo: 6000GB The server would not be too strong, it would be host lots of little site To sum up: Lots of disk space, bandwidth and high uptime (cpanel and whmcs is good to be) I would like to start a free webhost (e.g. 0 0 0 w e b h o s t - I can cover the price of the server max $200/mo) Thank you Last edited by gery555; 11-22-2010 at 06:17 AM.

Hi Gery and welcome to WebHostingTalk! Most hosting providers won't allow you to offer free hosting on their Reseller plans due to the number of users that abuse the servers with spam/fraud, etc. Been as you have a budget of $200, I suggest you lease a Dedicated Server instead. You should be able to get a good spec with a 1TB SATA Hard Drive and between 2000-5000GB of bandwidth all within your budget.

I would really go with your own dedicated server. I dont know any services that will allow 1tb of disk space and 6000gb bandwidth on a reseller acc. (Even the unlimited companies will probably suspend you).

Unlimited offer would have a term that does not allow free hosting offer. If you offer free hosting and use dedicated server, be prepared to deal with abuse usage like spam, hosting malware, warez site ...

You should go with hetzner. I have a server with them for 3 years now and I can't complain. They are doing a great job.

I would recommend a dedicated like the others have said as well. Most companies won't allow you to offer free plans on a Reseller due to the high amount of fraud, spam and etc. Also, you'll be paying a nice buck for 1 TB of space and 6 TB of Bandwidth on a shared server. Your better off getting dedicated resources on a dedicated server.

If you are offering free hosting, as said by others, it would attract spammers and I don't think any reseller would allow that. Your best bet is to go with a dedicated server, and your budget seems reasonable that I think you would be able to find one.

You should check into Limestonenetworks, or iweb both are very good data centers of which i have experience with. But your best bet would be how ever a dedicated guaranteed.

yes, but i cant find any dedicated host which give cpanel/whm license (similar to reseller) and if I buy this license that will be more amount... Can you tell me some dedicated which operates same like reseller?

You can get a server at hetzner for 49 EUR / month with: Intel® Core™ i7-920 Quad-Core 8 GB DDR3 RAM 2 x 750 GB SATA-II HDD Backup Space100 GB There is an initial setup fee of 150 EUR, but that's only the first month. You can get a cPanel license from buycpanel for 38 USD / month (28 EUR / month). So you would have a great server with cPanel/WHM for 77 EUR / month.

So that's an addtional 12.50/month. OP could get a Internal Dedicated Server cPanel license for around £10-£15 with some providers.

It's a one time fee, at least that's how I did it. I don't know if they allow you to pay off your set-up fee on a monthly basis. But hey, 3 years is a long time, maybe they changed the rules.
