Xen HVM Partition

We are looking forward to configure xen hvm on one of our node. A requirement for xen hvm suggested by solusvm is to have centos 5.8 however, we received following response from the datacenter. Anybody has any suggestions?

Relying on CentOS 5.8 sounds like ********. Better get in touch with SolusVM and ask about if that is still a current recommendation and why in hell they're giving it.

Running raid-0 sounds crazy. Also you can use CentOS 6 and Xen.

CentOS 5.8 is required since the DHCP does not work with Windows VPS' and the IP has to be manually assigned if the OS is CentOS 6.x.

What a load of crap. DHCP works fine on CentOS 6. Hell, I've been supporting CentOS 6 /w Xen and SolusVM for over 2 years now..
