Cleverkite cloud review

Posted by DakNet, 10-06-2011, 08:32 PM
I was initially on a budget vps but experienced some problems when a lot of users started visiting my website. I didn't want to spend money on a full blown dedicated server so I went with a cleverkite cloud vps instead. My site is running very smoothly now and I'm not even using all of my resources yet. Earlier, I was using the same vps for an apache solr search engine. I didn't have any downtime and searches were very fast. I like cleverkite because of their quality hardware and network speed. Orien was always available to help me out with technical issues. I think CKs pricing is reasonable considering what they give you. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a powerful vps.

The first question that came to my mind when I read the title is ...What is the cloud architecture behind cleverkite and how are failovers executed? Do they use redundant SANs like an OnApp setup or each node is replicated real time to duplicate nodes as with Applogic?
