HostGator Load Times and cPanel

Hello! I am going to switch from a VPS to a reseller plan with hostgator. I will be hosting about 30 medium size sites, 300-500 meg each. Has anyone experienced bad load times or load issues on a hostgator reseller plan? And, does hostgator use cPanel 11 with the X3 theme available? Thanks, Kyle

We have been using them for several of our low volume sites for about 3 months with great success. Load times tend to run slightly high, altho it is definitely within our requirements and not noticeable by the end visitor. I hear (from this board) that if you place them under somewhat of a load, the servers may strain a bit due to overselling. We've not noticed this so far for our own sites, however. Good luck!

The demo on their frontpage has just X theme. Since they are a cPanel host I am sure you can ask for X3

I've been with Hostgator for about 4 years - no slow performance on sites, especially after the hardware upgrade sites do load faster. Sometimes Cpanel was slow on old hardware, now it is much better. Highly recommended.
