Domain API

Posted by TheInsaneManiac, 07-27-2008, 04:14 PM
I run a hosting site, but honestly I don't care about making a profit off of domains. Is there an API where I can use it for free and just let the other company make the profit?

You can simply register a Directi domain reseller account, configure branding domain like domain.your-domain.com and start selling domain.

You can simply use a billing system for that. I think whmcs has the option for it.

But again you have to have an API.

The easiest solution is to get a free reseller account from any good eNom reseller, and then use the free "registry rocket" system. The Registry Rocket is a free ecommerce website offered by eNom to all reseller. It lets you simply specify your desired pricing and you can immediately start selling domains to your customers. They take care of everything including credit cards and domain management. You keep the difference in price between your own cost and whatever price you have specified. It works very well, and takes about 1 minute to set up.
