How to know which node is serving CDN content

Hi, This might be a simple question but I am a newbie. I have signed up for a CDN to host my images. All working fine so far. How can I find out that images served by CDN are from a particular node? Thanks for help in advance.

Which CDN are you on? If it's IP-anycasted (any of the nodes can respond to the same IP), it's going to be tough to nail down the actual node with any degree of accuracy. If it's NOT anycasted, you can do a traceroute and figure out where the node is. Best, Dave

With asymmetrical routing, the traceroute from your computer to the CDN node might not match the return path either. Most CDNs have a node identifier page that you can pull up in your browser that tells you what node you are hitting, which helps with troubleshooting on their end. Contact your CDN vendor (or check your CDN portal) to see if they have such a page available.
