try a VPS

Reseller hostings generally don't allow this. If you have no much knowledge and time when you can buy a managed dedicated server to sell reseller hosting.

VPSs don't allow to use many system resource. So this is a bad solution to sell reseller hostings.

I would search WHT for WHMReseller Some host use it and some dont. Send in some sales emails to check to see if they will let you or not. Good Luck.

You may also want to take note that some hosts will allow you to resell their reseller plans (usually at a discounted rate) and in effect be able to sell reseller accounts. Although with such a system you don't have as much control as you are reselling their pre-defined plans.

Shared reseller account would probably be worse than VPSs. If you go for a good VPS, like the one from RackForce, then it will not be a problem .

I think there's an addon for WHM that some hosts use to let subresellers be created, but I don't know any, sorry. I suggest you purchase a VPS? There are some going quite cheap now

Do a search on Offers forum, you will find a few hosting providers offer sub-reseller options for reseller hosting service.

There is a addon called WHM Master reseller. And this is available form many hosting providers like us. You don't need to have root access to create reseller accounts. Hope with the best..!

The main application used to do this atm is WHM reseller 2.0. Most reliable companies will not use this as it is a very unstable application, and leads to alot of issues. Good luck.

If you want to make resellers, go for a VPS. Hosts have problems with resellers as it is, imagine the chaos of reseller's resellers.

Posted by NottinghamISP, 05-03-2007, 09:26 AM
and dont forget thier resellers and thier. the list goes on, Now if you had to provide support for all them clients, your gonna be confussed

I am the developer of WHMreseller. We are about to release version 3 with many improvements and addons, I would wait another few weeks and then go for a host that uses our updated software.

Posted by stipw, 05-22-2007, 10:34 AM
ok cool i can also wait lets c the.... thxs all for the inputs

VPS is the best way to go- most hosts will only offer you a discounted resale system. That's probably -not- what you're looking for. Goodluck!

If handled in the right way, WHMReseller can serve customers very well. Just not in a massive (possibly oversold) environment...... Or with the larger companies.
