Wow you really are picking out some interesting hosts to look at recentley I can't comment on their services because i've never used them .. but .. in my opinion any host that offers 150GB space and 150GB transfer for $30 a month as they did in the offers forum usually falls into one of several catergories. 1. they are trying to rip you off 2. they are mega rich and like paying people to host with them 3. they are under the impression that what they are offering is actually possibile because of what they have been told by their own supplier. I have a feeling that number 3 applies here as they appear to be reselling for web-xperts.com and if you do a search on that domain here you'll find alot of interesting reading from past customers. The people at mongohosting may have the best intentions, although he/they did his best to avoid answering the questions asked in his offers thread, however i think they are being led to believe they can genuinely offer those deals by web-xperts It's not them i wouldn't trust, it's the people they are selling for. A search here will reveal more. And of course, all of the above is just my opinion

Mongo! LOL. Here in Miami, a "MONGO" is an idiot, a low-life, a dumbass. And I'm not kidding.

Could just be a Mongolian CEO ? I like their site, it is fairly convincing -- can't comment on whether they are genuine, but their site holds together better than the web-xperts one which has dead links and generally looks "unwell". Would not use Mongo for website design, tho, as the minute you go to "signup" or "support" their design falls apart.... the frame around the site disappears, which is something that any designer worth employing would have addressed when integrating these various php (I assume it's php) applications into the site. I just signed up with MongoHosting.com after exchanging many honest, friendly, helpful, and timely emails with Ron, the owner. I have NO complaints so far, and I've talked to some people who have been hosting with him....and believe me, they are ALL very happy with Mongo! I will let you know how the service is in a couple of months....I have a lot of faith in the service already! He has done a lot to help me out! ~cAt*

They only offer 10ftp accounts and 10 mysql databases.... Are they willing to give you more? (ie. unlimited)

Posted by code_renegade, 05-15-2004, 11:22 AM
Moria, I think that is the point - they don't want you to have that many sites on your account and therefore use up all your 'entitled' resources

Actually, it was just bad layout of our services on the web page. The 10/10 limit is on the actual resellers account not what they can resell. If you have experience with WHM and Cpanel you'll know what I'm talking about. So.... ourreseller.com 10/10 limit.......can resell anything in the space/transfer allotted.

You should really fix that I like it when people reply to threads about them here at WHT. Anyways, if you want a good laught, take a look here http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois....ngoHosting.com

It's fixed now, was a major pain in the *** explaining over and over that people weren't limited to only 10/10. On the dnsstuff link, while it's funny....it's really odd b/c the domain name isn't registered with netsol....BELIEVE ME. The domain name is with bulkregister. Oh well.

Another BTW....we aren't Web Xperts resellers....our servers are at ServerMatrix.

UPDATE: Mongo went under new managment, and is TERRIBLE. NO support, FTP is down, and none of the emails work. Oh, and the mySQL keeps getting messed up....

yes they are really horrible. they have been holding my reseller account captive for some time. they have absolutely no support, they changed my password and never sent me a new working one, and any emails they do send sound like they are coming from someone who has never used a web hosting control panel in their life. its a damn shame. as i have alot of clients on one of their servers, and i can't even move them off.
