| Should I really have to enable port scanning detection and IP blocking in CSF? It's blocking too many false positives

| I won't recommend enabling Port_Scanning in CSF as it generates too many false positives. Disable it unless your server is under some sort of attack.

| Port scanning isnt really an issue in my opinion to be honest.
Rather than block port scanning manually monitor all open ports.

| It is not a need, but it depends on if you have people trying to attack you. Otherwise just leave it off.
