Hey everybody, I'd like everyone to please be advised of amazed.net. Little information is available, so I'll give my experience. I signed up for hosting 2 days ago, and I've yet to get a username and password from them. I had a very important project to complete and get up online, and I could not because of their poor service. Despite my efforts to contact customer support, nobody responded, despite their great service before I signed up. Please, watch out for these people.

Maybe the email address that you used to signup with, was non functional when they sent you your welcome email. It happens.

I did get a refund yes, but the email address was correct none the less, and I never got a confirmation email. I don't recommend them in a pinch, but that's just my review. Others can try.

When I signed up with amazed I received my confirmation email instantly and had all of my details within 30 minutes of making the order. The only thing I had to wait for was the domain propagation. No idea what happened in your case but you got refunded. Maybe there is something wrong with your email.
