I think you should set up Firewall like CSF and other programs

Hello, In order to secure your server, you should install third party firewall likes csf+lfd or apf+bfd, rkhunter, chkrootkit. You should secure you tmp partition as well. If you are not expertise, then you could hire any server management company or individual free lancer.

Make sure to have a firewall, and try to only allow SSH from your IP address range.

Please do the following to secure the server, 1) Disable Open DNS, Disable Zone Transfers 2) install SPRI (process priority scheduler) , SIM & PRM 3) Secure your /tmp with noexec, nosuid 4) Optimize Mysql, Apache, PHP services by editing its variables. 5) Disable Direct Root Login for SSH and also disable ssh access to all other users except one wheel user. 6) install CSF&LFD on your server and configure with suitable values. 7) Install Chkrootkit and Rkhunter for suspecious processes and rootkits. If you need assistance,It will be better to hire a server administrator for these works who can setup a regular security audit on your server which includes all the above steps.
