CloudWeb Hosting

Hi guys, I would like to find out more about CloudWeb hosting. Is their technical support friendly & knowledgeable? I have tried to contact them few times throughout their online chat but it does not seems to be working properly. Then, I have sent an email to them and got a replay few days later. Wondering, if they provide good service and if I can run Expression Engine as well? Would you recommend CloudWeb? Needs: * Disk Space: 10GB or maybe 30GB (should be more than enough) * Traffic : 60,000 / 80,000 page views per month (growing) * Unlimited domains RAM: ? - I am designer so, I am not really sure (Maybe 256MB) Do you think it should be enough? Thank you so much

I would search this forum and Google for reviews on CloudWeb.

Luke, Hello and thanks for your interest. I would definitely say our support is knowledgeable and friendly, most of our team has been in the hosting industry for over a decade and we know customer satisfaction is what drives long term success. We're not doing much online sales chat's right now as our focus as of late has been supporting our existing customer base, making some large infrastructure improvements, consolidating Data Center's, and not aggressively trying to grow. With that being said we're not turning away new business by any means, we just aren't working as hard for new business so I apologize for that. EE is fine for Cloud Web Servers. We have other customers using it. 256MB/RAM is ok for a very small server, such as for backups or possibly DNS, but you wouldn't want to load a full featured web server with expression engine. Our smallest servers we offer are 512MB/RAM. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

I'm a CloudWeb customer and so far their support team is good and always polite. Response time can be over an hour sometimes (depend on the ticket priority) but never more than a day. I've been with them for only about 5 months but so far never had a downtime. They offer great value for money for their packages. Did you send email to sales dept? Usually responds for sales questions are very fast. Maybe there's a glitch in the support ticket app when you sent it?
