Pinpointing 503 server error problems

I've been having a recurring issue on a Litespeed server that's got me tearing my hair out, so I figured maybe someone reading this now could offer some advice. I'm using WordPress, and every now and then my resources get tied up and results in a 503 service unavailable error, making my site inaccessible. I know it's a plugin or possibly a specific combo of plugins, but I can't figure out which one. The problems happen so randomly that even when I'm on my site and deactivating plugins to test, I can't reproduce the problem on my own, and sometimes I could go for days without there being any issues. My hosting support said they don't retain any helpful logs or info on 503 errors, so there doesn't appear to be a way to see what processes could be jamming things up and at least give me an idea of what the culprit is. Since my plugins are pretty much all essential to drive the features of my blog, that makes things all the more frustrating. Anyone else have similar issues like this? Is there some way I could troubleshoot 503 problems that could give me more clues as to what the problem might be?
