In the main forums users can only make recommendations. If you want specific offers with pricing and details you will need to post a request in the Shared and Reseller Hosting Requests forum. I do remember one of the host here offering the ability to resell reseelr accounts under WHM.

Generally cPanel doesnt allow resellers to resell accounts but as <> had mentioned some hosting companies have their own control panel or a control panel that allows resellers to resell accounts

I saw at cPanel forums there's somebody trying develope a system like this for cPanel. Seems that he didn't success And I remember somebody in this forum just said that this is "possible" under cPanel, anybody got any idea how to do that? By applying a patch or something?

I remember likewise, but at the time didn't know enough to read it.

From what I've seen, some hosts will set up reseller accounts for resellers who resell them. You may also be able to use the same API (or whatever you want to call it) some programs like WHMAP use to auto create accounts.

It's possible this way: create the resold account (for Jack) give ownership to the current reseller (Joe). now both have WHM access and Joe can log into his WHM and change the password for Jack. Then log in as Jack when stuff needs to be done. There is a script that (used to?) allow creation of resellers by resellers... but it's just a bad idea imho to do this. You'll get resellers who have resellers who have resellers who in turn are resellers (of you? lol)

Even if host's do offer it, I'd advise against it. If you're serious about a business, and wish to offer reseller, aswell as shared accounts, the least you could do for your customers is have your own box. The situation you get into, by being a reseller's reseller, is you have NO control over some accounts that are on the same server as your resellers users.. So, let's say you get a reseller account from a reseller of abc123host.. All of a sudden, your reseller notices that some of his users accounts are lagging... so, he contacts you, and reports the problem. you then check the other accounts on your server, and notice that none of them are causing the problem either. So, then you have to go contact your reseller account provider, and ask them to check their shared users, resellers, and resellers of resellers accounts... As you can see, it would probably prove to be more of a hassle than is worth it, especially as you can get yourself a managed dedicated server for $400-$800 per month

I don't think he ever mentioned 3 levels. Meaning a reseller to reseller to reseller. Tha's kinda of a crazy notion. Two is done very nicely in cPanel. We have done it for more than 4 years. IHSL uses Hsphere and Hsphere has a pretty sophisticated nested reseller system. You might want to check it out.

We supply WHM [Reseller] accounts to our clients, who resell them to their clients. It's not a perfect solution, as our client's client is 2 steps away from the source of end support, and our client's client's client is 3 steps away. But it works pretty good. Not all folks can afford a ded server, and reselling reseller accounts is not a bad step up to that level.

We use a similar system. Whilst it's not the best solution in the world, it's preferable to resellers selling reseller accounts - this simply adds another in another tier and could no doubt cause a lot of confusion. Confusion often results with problems - never a good thing.

Can you guys tell me how you set it up so that your reseller can also resell accounts?

It is an automated feature reserved exclusively for our Power Reseller clients.
