Best 3rd party system for International Business?

| Hi,
Can someone advise me which is the best 3rd party processing system for international websites? I've heard bad stuff about 2checkout.com - and dont want to use paypal.
Any others that are good in terms of service? I know it is best to use my own merchant account but I cant do that at this time so would appreciate any advice.
