AllProHost: worth it? What about SRLNet?

Well, I've been talking to an AllProHost "sales" guy (I have a feeling it's also a one-man show, but whad-da-ya-want for the amount of money I'm willing to cough up) (strangely, he used the username "dktkhelp"), and I was told that for $10, I could get 18 GB of bandwidth anlong with 1 GB of space. That seems over-reasonable, though. That's a bit more than I was looking for a simple $10 (I just thought, "hey, I could get a resell account to host my personal site and maybe score a hosting deal with a few friends"). What has been your experience with them? My other option is SRLNet (http://srlhosting.com/reseller.html)--any good things about them? Sorry I've been bothering you with silly posts, just don't want to get involved with a bad host (like I have in the past, unfortunatly).

I don't know about allprohost, but i've been with SRLNet for only a little over a month now, but I like it better everyday. costs are very good, and support is great.

This actually seems very good: http://www.dathorn.com/hostingplans.php they have very competitive costs with some very good features... Plus, unlike SRLNet, they _do_ provide SSH, which is very important for me. I remember checking httpme out yesterday, but didn't really like them. I forgot why . I'll look at them again.

I would suggest looking into rusko.us.. the site isn't up but there are other ways to contact them, they, from what i've read offer a lot of functionality to it's resellers. you should put a request in the request section with the exact requirments you're looking for, and contact each of those who reply.. and that should help you out a lot better with who would best serve your needs.

Dajo77, that's a great idea. Thanks!

I lurked around webhostingtalk for a while before opting for SRLNet, and I've been with them for a month now on a reseller account. I am totally impressed. I've been with some awful hosts for the last few years and it makes a real change. They've responded to my help calls within minutes, and it's only been help to overcome my stupidity.
