Hi I just sign up a account with them. But they don't allow me us cloud linux as OS. Anyone know what cloud system are they using?

Just FYI, CloudLinux has nothing to do with cloud hosting.

Oh~~ I see. Do you have experience with cloud linux?

I myself have used cloudlinux and simply put, it is generally just Centos with addons that stop shared hosting clients from using more resources they they should. Yes people are going to say there is more to it and there is but, that's its basic use. The cloud in cloudlinux is misleading completely and cloudlinux from my understanding can be run on the Gigenet cloud but you have to install CentOS first and following the documentation on the cloudlinux website.

As Cloudlinux says it themselves on their current homepage: (Emphasis mine.)

Yes, gigenet are a redundant cloud solution, using over 20 servers with various configs with them. No downtime.

Unfortunately I can't say the same as him. I'm also running a Gigenet cloud. The hardware on SAN6 and SAN3 is constantly failing. Make sure your not put on either of these if you do decide to go with them. I've had a week or more of downtime in just the last two months with them, plus data corruption in which the tech told me their redundant SAN backup isn't meant to keep my data safe. Just to keep the servers online even if it destroys your data. That is not how they advertised it. But what ever. Looking for a solution to get away from them at the moment. When I dealt with Derek Raines and Chris Armer exclusively Gigenet was a great service. Its gone far down hill since those times. I'm a 10+ year customer of theirs and have decided I can no longer waste my money with them.

It will be help if you can tell us where you want to move. I didn't feel like to stay with them but currently we really didn't have any better option. =(
