Posted by Jackmaninov, 02-01-2002, 09:42 PM Ensim seems like a great alternative to Plesk, especially the new version 3. It's got lots of great features built in, there are ways to build in your own hacks if you want to (like subdomains...) I find that the interface is a lot more task-oriented than Plesk, and that there's more feedback on operations, which end users may like (I haven't recieved any feedback with regards to the setup from my clients yet) All in all, Ensim is definately a competitor!

How does it compare to Plesk in regards to reselling and resellers? Truthfully I'm not particular but maybe George can clear it up, or reprt it requesting that it be moved back, etc.

Do you want to know about their WEBppliance LS Hosting Control Panels or their ServerXchange Hosting Automation Platform? No surprise to most people that I give all of Ensim 2 thumbs up.
Posted by CobaltConn, 02-02-2002, 02:12 PM Im currently in the process of transfering all of my customers from a RaQ to Ensim..and I have to say so far..Ensim is great!! You may have to make a few mods, but once it's setup, its sooo much better than RaQ... Just my opinion anyway ....

Posted by Chicken, 02-03-2002, 01:52 PM I've changed the thread title and made a note in the origianl thread so you won't (in theory) get tangent replies about how enim or plesk 'look' or how easy one is over the other in terms of admin of the server. I suppose just to make it extreme, you could say... If you were a reseller ONLY host (host only offering reseller accounts), and you were going to offer either plesk or ensim, which would it be?
