Requesting Recommendations

Hello, We're an IT service provider who does complete support for various businesses in our city. Over the years many of our clients have requested website hosting (windows, linux), Exchange hosting, Sharepoint hosting and hosted VPS. To meet these needs we've got a number of reseller accounts at various places to provide these services to our end users. Managing all these different accounts and hosts has become a pain so we're looking to consolidate. What we're looking for is to migrate to a VERY RELIABLE host that will allow us to resell all these products for a reasonable cost and minimize the number of control panels and systems we currently use. We're looking for a CANADIAN provider with canadian datacentre(s). We are happy to pay extra for excellent support, excellent uptime and to have a host that will be around for a long time. We're open to all options within these parameters, including some sort of custom setup that is completely managed by the host. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Do you have a specific budget?

We're currently paying almost $1000 per month for around 100 hosted exchange users and 10 web hosting accounts. Anything under that would be great.

You'll have a hard time finding Windows hosting in Canada. I'm not aware of anybody there that I'd suggest. And are you seeking reseller hosting or a dedicated server, with an Exchange license, that can be carved up into several VPS? Is Exchange really necessary? MailEnable and Smartermail can be just as good.

Do check Cartika - http://www.cartika.ca/ for Canada.

kpmedia I'm open to either a reseller option or our own dedicated server that can host exchange/websites/vps. The key factor is that the infrastructure/server needs to be fully managed. We deal with enough servers day to day so for these services we just want to provision and administer without worrying about server side or network issues. Exchange is a requirement as opposed to a substitute email system. @Softsys Cartika is definetly on my list. I've heard good things about them but there is minimal info on them here, any idea why? is there no alternatives to Cartika in Canada? The only other option I've been able to find is robsoninc.com but I can't find any info on them here. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Why dont you go with a reliable dedicated server with redundant drives, ECC ram, etc... Then, install CentOS and XEN. Then break the server up into VPS's to offer your windows hosting, normal linux based hosting, etc. Licenses will be cheaper that way, you will be on a much more reliable dedicated environment and ideally, probably cheaper.

SolaDrive that sounds reasonable, I just need recommendations on a canadian company that can handle all this for me with no headaches.
