cpbackup question

| Hi,
I've a question about cpbackup.
On particular days web server starts taking both weekly and daily backups.
Is there anyway I can arrange such that when there is a day for weekly backup, it doesn't take daily backup.

| There is no option for this in WHM. Only you select the type of backup and the days they should be run.

| why don't you customize it
1. cp /scripts/cpbackup /scripts/cpbackupweekend
2. cp /etc/cpbackup.conf /etc/cpbackupweekend.conf
3. edit /etc/cpbackupweekend.conf
4. edit cronjob
0 0 * * 1-5 /scripts/cpbackup
0 0 * * 6 /scripts/cpbackupweekend
just my own idea i can think off..

| It is difficult, /scripts/cpbackup uses the /etc/cpbackup.conf as the conf file.

| not so difficult.. i tried before.
open /scripts/cpbackupweekend and edit replace "/etc/cpbackup.conf" with "/etc/cpbackupweekend.conf"
then you need to edit /etc/cpbackupweekend.conf
