a small bandwidth question

I had a small question.. Suppose a user downloads something from my server the bandwidth is counted.. Now if i download something from some other server from my server is the bandwidth still counted.. I mean suppose i url upload a file on my server from rapidshare.. say the file is of 100mb will those 100 mb be counted in my bandwidth and even the opposite, suppose a user url uploads a file from my server on rapidshare, will it be counted as my bandwidht.. I know its a bit of silly question but in India our broadband providers charge us only for our downloads and not for the uploads.. so is the the same for the servers too

It will be counted in your bandwidth as well.

Answer for your first and second question is yes, it will be counted. BW is counted when anything goes in and out of the server. If the 100 mb file is served from your server, it will count to the BW. When the user requests for the link and it is served through your server then BW will be counted. >>suppose a user url uploads a file from my server on rapidshare, Yes counted.
