Wild Card SSL Certificates

Can wild card SSL certs be used on multiple servers, or can they only be used on one server?

It should work on multiple servers that have identical web servers running. Some providers asks to get additional license for using wild card SSL on multiple physical servers.

They will have the same servers running, it would basically be to offer shared SSL on our shared and reseller hosting servers. Should this work?

Yes, it should work. Just check for the licensing part at the SSL provider.

Yeah, as david510 said, it'll work fine but make sure you use the right domain format. A lot of people assume a wildcard SSL will work with *.subdomain.domain.com AND *.domain.com which isn't the case.

Yeah, it works. We do the same thing across about 90 of our servers, all using the same wildcard cert. --Tina
