What is the best uploading-script?

I want to use an uploading script. I prefer it to be under GNU and programed with php :)

| What are you looking to upload?
& are you just looking for a simple script to process the uploaded file, then move it to a directory on your server?
Will you need a page to show all uploaded files, will the uploader need a password?
If you could supply more specifics, I might be able to point you in the right direction

| you wont find one, all the big sites are custom coded, there is ALOT of things done behind the scenes by custom software in a large filehosting site

If you can provide your 'must-haves' and 'nice-to-haves' in the script, then probably you will get more relevant replies for some script that "best" fits your requirements.
