Hello, Honestly there are not many Hong Kong Resellers that I am aware of, mainly because their sites are not in English. May I ask why Hong Kong? If you dont have a specific reason for Hong Kong, you may want to look at a US Server in Las Angeles as the ping times to Asian countries is excellent.

I looking for ip range that Hong Kong and china can provide but china is way more troublesome thus i look at hong Kong instead.

Hey, I've had a few people I know chat about Kowloonhosting.com See what they have to offer you, they are in the region.

Did you find a host in the end? I've been looking for a reseller acct in HK and Kowloonhosting have a good site and responded to my email question quickly - but I'd like to hear from someone who uses them before I commit and transfer my domains over...

Be careful on transfer speeds - based on their page for example, dedicated includes 55mbps of local traffic (plenty) but only 3mbps of international which includes china routes not going through the HKIX (hong kong internet exchange.) If the reseller servers are similar or less (very likely) you could end up with very slow performing sites, at least if your target customers are in the Mainland. There are no good shared options in Hong Kong, you need to go for dedicated/premium bandwidth if you want good performance to the mainland. As someone else suggested, both Telecom and Unicom peer in Los Angeles and you'll get fairly decent throughput for WWW sites, but pings around 300ms which are not ideal compared to 30-80ms from HK.

Thanks forthe quick reply.! The sites are mainly low traffic HK local businesses, aimed at HK audiences. I'm transferring them from a US based host because of the slow response times - I've been getting 20-35 ms for Kowloonhosting - around 10% of current host. Do you know what their reliabilty/support is like?

Hi, if that's the case, any host in HK with HKIX should be sufficient including this one. I don't know about Kowloon hosting, but have had exposure to Sun networks, which is who provides their actual service. See http://www.sun.net.hk - they do have outages from time to time based on monitoring of a server I have on their network, but are generally good guys. They do not have the ability to offer a large amount of bandwidth/full bgp routing tables etc. which are things I need (that you wouldn't care about on a reseller account) so I have only indirect experience with them. If Kowloonhosting is responding to you, and you can get an idea of where they are locally (maybe even visit them - what's a quick ride on the MTR right?) with your target market I'd guess you'd be fine. Also, you may want to look at www.hostloc.com for the "local WHT" scene on hosts in HK/china etc - I can see some posts there on Kowloon hosting for example.
