I been using rate point for reviews but not sure I should upgrade. 15.00 per month is high when your a small host so im looking for advice or other low cost webhost reviews links that are reasonable priced.

Ratepoint is great! I suggest you just stay with the free service for now, build your customer base and then cover the prices with your profits!

I think it is just a waste of time. I had a few people who were not even clients of mine posting fake reviews/giving negative stars on my profile. Reviews can easily be faked on sites like RatePoint. At least there is less chance of reviews being fake at WHT. I will stick with my own Testimonials page.

I have also been looking at adding a review system to my website. I don't see any major advantages in using rate point. So I have been thinking about coding my own review system integrated with WHMCS. That way I can display how long the customer has been with us, domain name, current package, etc. Then also give a few credits to the customer for reviewing us.

Ratepoint allows you to do much more then just collect reviews! Your always going to get people who abuse the feddback system, but if this does happen Ratepoint is willing to work with you to delete the fake reviews!

Using my old login - I need to get a RatePOintCEO one.. Anyway, RatePoint has an entire dispute resolution and review authentication system so we are pretty good at weeding out competitors. We also get the reviews indexed and syndicated in other places like Google Places, Yahoo, Bing Local, twiiter and Facebook. Try it for free before you go through the trouble to build something yourself. We have been at this for years (since we sold GeoTrust to VeriSign in 2006) so we a good at it. Neal

Well I have used them and they where allot better sometime ago. First I felt scammed because I paid and then they launched their free service which took away the fact that I paid. So everyone just started to post their Ratepoint seals which is not credible any more. Second, they where focused on reviews, and now it seems they give mailing and stuff. Nobody wants that. They charge you to show up reviews on your site which is just ridiculous. I would ratter pay for the seal but not for the extra tools they have. They really need a better management. I could take a company like that to the sky. They need to profit on reputation and it seems they dont know where to take money from clients. All those tools they give are a waste of time and their customers already say this on their own forums. Some even complain they never end to charge your credit card even after you cancel. They should focus on Rate+Point like their name says and not on being a mailing company. It was also multi language and now it isn't anymore no matter what language you choose its always English. I did saw a benefit of it before, but I dont anymore. It also doesn't help your SEO in anyway and their verification systems has gone down as well. Anyone can just post what they want on the reviews.

It waste of money if you can do your own or buy a script of one time fee not paying monthly fee. Plus they change they price alot and going to high
