| We are looking to deploy some new storage servers and was wondering if anything have any experience worth sharing with GlusterFS ?
We are looking to setup a infrastructure we can scale quickly while it stay cost effective

| Its probably best if you stress test it for your specific use case. It worked for us for particular cases but heavy IO and bonnie++ it was not usable.

| what is the purpose of glusterfs on your system?
You want to build a big storage replicated on some servers?

| Thanks I did look into that but it appeared it was outperformed by Gluster.
Under which scenarios did Gluster cause problems for you ?
