I am trying to decide on a great reseller hosting account. Something in the $20-$40 range. Things I am looking for are WHM, the ability to install SSL certs myself (I'm going to move some of my accounts away from HostGator because on their reseller plans you have to put in a ticket to have them install any SSL certs which prices $10 extra), Shell access is preferred (which eliminated InnoHosting which was a runner up for my list), Live Chat support is a must. So far the ones I have liked best are Surpass, MidPhase, and GreenGeeks. Here I compare the plans that I would most likely pick at each one. The price of dedicated IPs is important to me as I have 4-5 sites that I host that need a dedicated SSL/IP. Surpass: $35/month $3/month dedicated IPs Unmetered Bandwidth Unlimited Accounts MidPhase: $34.95/month $1.95/month dedicated IPs (10 included) 1 TB bandwidth Unlimited Accounts GreenGeeks: $39.95 $2.50/month dedicated IPs Unlimited Bandwidth 50 Accounts Any others that I should consider? Or any issues with the ones I have mentioned?

I would go with hostdime. Surpass is essentially the same company but charges more for all of the addons. Although if you want to pay a bit more ezpzhosting is great but you would have to contact them to find out about the shell access.

Hostdime looks like they have the same features as Surpass, the dedicated IPs are also the same price of $3/month. They advertise Surpass Hosting as their cheaper counterpart without phone support. I prefer live chat anyway. Their features page says they do have shell access, but there wasn't anybody on their live chat to ask further questions.

Personally i would suggest you going with GreenGeeks, i have used them before and the support is unbeatable. When ever i had a problem i opened live chat asked and they responded and helped me with my question right away.

I recommend Hostdime or Surpasshosting. Surpass is a member of Hostdime family. So their services are very similar. But Surpass servers are a little slower than Hostdime(because of higher CPU load). But this maybe my misfortune.

I recommend Surpass, friendly support, and fast to resolve any issue. I'm with them for about a month or so, until now only had a problem with a bad configuration of an IP. They solved the problem in about 5 minutes on live chat. Recommend

I don't. I use it about 2 months.
