Bandwidth usage problem

Posted by wiredhosting, 06-01-2014, 11:43 AM
Hi, I have a dedicated server with cPanel/WHM. I am hosting 10 blogs. All of them together are using almost 20Gb of bandwidth per day.. but when I check with the datacenters bandwidth graph, it says my server is using 100GB per day.. so WHM data is not matching with datacenters data.. I am sure that I have a security issue on that server and something is using lot of bandwidth outside the apache/mysql scope.. I have CSF firewall installed and bandwidth usage has not gone down.. What else can I do to find out what is using that 90% of the servers bandwidth? Thanks!

Probably incoming and outgoing traffic? WHM is only counting data for you accounts not all server. Use iptraf to see if there is anything with high data usage.

Has your dedicated server company been of help in this? They may have some insight.
